Stainless steel tank, vessel & platform specialists SX Engineering have been directly involved in, and supplied components for, industrial installations across various industries the length and breadth of Ireland and beyond since 2005. Some of our stainless steel tanks / platforms & vessels have also been exported to countries such as the UK, Belgium and even as far as the Windward Islands in the Caribbean.

We are proud to have earned the reputation of being one of the leading stainless steel suppliers in the country. In Ireland, we have equipment installed in such sites as, Eli Lilly, Wuxi Biologics Dundalk, Abbvie Pharmaceuticals Sligo, Dairygold Food Ingredients Cork, Abbott Nutrition Cavan, Spice O’Life, Craft Food Ingredients Cork, Carbery Milk Products Cork, Irish Yogurts Clonakilty, Danone / Nutrucia, Tirlan (Formerly Glanbia) Arrabawn Co-op Tipperary and Pepsico Cork to name just a few – along with many many more. Our services mainly relate to the supply & install of system components such as high purity water treatment (PW, RO, WFI etc) Pharmaceutical vessels, Process Vessels & Silos, Pressure Vessels, Pipework, Skids, associated various sub assemblies, Access platforms & Stairs etc, for a range of industries from; Food & Beverage, Dairy, Chemical, Brewing etc.

Further downstream, we have also been involved in and supplied large assemblies for use in applications such as Process Waste Storage & Treatment systems and Drainage systems etc.

We currently have a workforce of over 45 people from admin, engineering & production with some that have been involved in the industry for many many years ranging from new apprentices to highly skilled practising tradesmen for over 30 years and still going strong. We operate from a modern facility built in 2014 of over 30,000 square feet that would rival or, in most cases, better any other longer established engineering companies in Ireland. With workshop equipment such as multiple overhead gantry cranes, cnc guillotine, brake press, section & plate rolls etc etc.

We also have a dedicated design and drawing team for each project working in a modern office with all the most up to date 2d & 3d modelling / drawing & design software such as: PV Elite, Inventor, Multiple Autocad packages to list a few.
